Fox has decided not to proceed with a second season of science fiction series Terra Nova, effectively canceling the struggling show. 20th Century Fox studios, which produces the series, is keeping a small amount of hope alive by attempting to shop it to other networks, but chances of a pick-up appear slim at this point.

Terra Nova's cancellation was somewhat expected, given its mediocre ratings and hefty production costs. Fox has also recently filled up its roster of dramas with new high profile shows Alcatraz and Touch, which they expect will outperform the cancelled dinosaur drama.

Blue Mountain State premiered on Spike in January 2010 and ran for 39 episodes, airing its finale on November 20, 2011. The series followed the lives of a group of college football players at the fictional Blue Mountain State University.

If only Allison had seen this coming: CBS has cut 'Medium's' season 7 episode order to 13 episodes. Is this it for Allison DuBois? According to Deadline Hollywood, CBS has not canceled the Patricia Arquette series -- yet. Its keeping all options open.

The series about a mom of three who can speak to the dead has done well in syndication on Lifetime and is averaging more than 6 million viewers on Fridays at 8PM.

This isn't the first time 'Medium' has faced danger.
The news was confirmed on Twitter by co-executive producer KristieAnne Reed. “ABC gave us the word,” she tweeted. “We will only make 13 episodes of The Whole Truth.” The drama only averaged 5.3 million viewers (ranked No. 69 among all primetime shows) and a 1.5 rating/4 share among adults 18-49 (ranked No. 72). It’s unclear how many of Truth‘s remaining unaired episodes will see the light of day; an original episode is still scheduled to air on Wednesday. ABC already announced a Plan B scenario for the timeslot that will begin Nov. 3 with In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The special will feature the Good Morning America anchor interviewing some of country music’s biggest stars. On Nov 10., ABC will preempt all of its Wednesday programming for the Country Music Awards. Earlier today, ABC extended full-season orders to fellow rookies No Ordinary Family and Better With You.

Source: http://ausiellofiles...uth/#more-12052

CBS continues its successful Friday streak -- led by the just canceled "Medium," which experienced a slight raise in the ratings this week. Also notable was NBC's TV Movie "Harmony: A Film Inspired by the Prince of Wales," which debuted to mediocre ratings despite the current renewed interest in the Royals' personal lives.

CBS averaged 9.6 million viewers and took a 6.1 rating/11 share of households for the night. ABC was second with 5.3 million and a 3.5/6. NBC came in third (4.0 million, 2.7/5). FOX was in fourth (3.0 million, 1.8/3) and the CW came in fifth (2.3 million, 1.4/3).

ABC bested CBS with a 1.6 in the key demo. CBS (1.5), The CW (1.0), NBC (0.9) and FOX (0.9) followed.
