Showtime has announced that Homeland has been renewed for a fifth season. The award-winning drama has continued to perform well for the network in its current season after a major character death in Season 3 forced it to hit the reset button.

12 new episodes of Homeland have been ordered Season 5, which is likely to return in fall 2015.

AMC has announced that Hell on Wheels has been renewed for a fifth and final season. The western drama will return with 14 episodes to conclude the series, split between the summers of 2015 and 2016.

The show has three episodes remaining in Season 4, which is scheduled to wrap up on November 22. When the show bows out in 2016, it will cap a successful 5-year run of 57 total episodes.

CBS has announced that it has ordered a full season of Madam Secretary. The freshman drama is off to a decent start over its first five weeks, ranking as Sunday night's most-viewed scripted broadcast with 13.5 million viewers.

The initial 13 episodes ordered for Madam Secretary has now been expanded to a full 22 for the season.

Due to Amazon in-season streaming sales Under the Dome has been renewed for a third season. Has there been any other reason? Not that anybody can tell, the show has taken a definite nose dive in good story telling and the writers should be ashamed of themselves.
