  1. The most frightening of serial killers: a handsome, educated psychopathic law student who stalked and murdered dozens of young college women who looked very much like a young woman who broke off her relationship with him. Bundy was a very adept and glib con artist who faked a broken arm in a sling to convince young women to help him carry his textbooks to his car. Once there, he battered them with a baseball bat and carried them off for ghoulish rituals. Click here to view the article

  2. The "mama's boy" of serial killers. Known as the Siberian Cannibal. Russian, Alexander Spesivtsev, was accused of killing over 80 children and cannibalizing some of his victims. Spesivtsev, committed his crimes with the assistance of his mother. If that wasn't enough, Spesivtsev was sent to a mental institute (twice!), while his mother spent 13 years in prison. Not much is know about Spesivtsev's early life. He was born march 1st, 1970 (some accounts say 1969) in a very abusive home. His father allegedly tortured the entire family. Spesivtsev, would later torture and kill his girlfriend. A crime for which his only punishment was 3 years in a mental institute. After his re…

  3. Just two days after a strong first showing, CBS has handed out a full-season order to Young Sheldon. The new Big Bang Theory spin-off debuted Monday with a "preview" episode that netted an impressive 3.8 rating in the adults 18-49 demo with a total of 17.2 million viewers. The show also fared well in retaining 98% of its lead-in audience from the season premiere of The Big Bang Theory. The comedy follows a 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper growing up in East Texas. At a young age, his advanced mathematical and scientific mind isn't necessarily helpful when living in a town where football and church get all the attention. Vulnerable, gifted and naive, Sheldon is embarking on …

  4. ABC announced today that five additional episodes have been ordered for the first season of The Good Doctor. The top-up brings the medical drama's episode count to 18 and makes it the first new drama of the fall to earn a full-season pickup - though it does fall short of the traditional 22 episodes that constitute a full season. The Monday night series is two episodes into its run and off to a strong start. After its premiere garnered a 2.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, it impressively duplicated that number in week two - a feat not often accomplished. And let us all now praise Timothy Dalton. There could have been easier ways for the character of Volkoff to go in this episode -- the psycho part of him could have melted away in favor of the lovesick part -- but to his immense credit, Dalton played crazy-in-love about as well as I've ever seen it played on television. "Chuck" hasn't really gotten any recognition from the Emmys in its first three seasons, but Dalton gave an award-worthy performance here -- funny, scary, intense and great. While we still don't quite know what Mary Bartowski is up to -- she says her mission is to take down Volkoff's network, but do we want to take her at her word? -- "Leftovers" at least ga…

  8. Dennis Nilsen was born November 23, 1945 in Fraserburgh, Scotland. Though Nilsen recognized his homosexual desires, he was never comfortable with them and began acting on them through murder and dismemberment. Nilsen's first victim was in 1978, he went on to kill, upon his confession, twelve young men and dissect their bodies. Dennis Nilsen killed, defiled and dismembered 15 young men between December 1978 and February 1983, practically under the noses of his neighbors. When police finally arrested him in 1983, it quickly became apparent that, had they linked a series of reported incidents from lucky escapees over the previous five years, they might well have halted his g…

  9. Ahead of tonight's sophomore premiere, Paramount Network announced today that Yellowstone has been picked up for a third season. The series follows the Dutton family, who are owners of a Montana ranch that is the largest of its kind in America. Kevin Costner plays patriarch John, who leads the Duttons as they constantly contend with attacks from land developers, conflicts with the country's first national park, and tense encounters with a neighboring Indian reserva…

  10. We're talking about President Bartlet (Martin Sheen) of"The West Wing" of course, although we're sure Obama isn't above seeking help during the holidays either. On a special Thanksgiving-themed episode of "The West Wing," Bartlet discovers the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line (1-800-BUTTERBALL), which Charlie (Dule Hill) calls the "Butterball hotline." "God, I love my country," says Bartlet. We agree. The president then proceeds to call and stay on hold until he reaches a helpful poultry expert and then asks some tricky questions about stuffing. Our favorite line about whether or not cooking stuffing inside a turkey could kill his guests: "I'm not saying that's necessarily a d…

  11. NBC has renewed Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for a fourteenth season. On the air since 1999, SVU has remained a solid performer and key franchise for the beleaguered network. Even with declining viewership after long-time co-star Christopher Meloni left the show, its ratings have stayed strong enough to easily warrant another season. First of all, love does not run smoothly in the "Dexter" world. As soon as a couple gets moony-eyed, we're afraid for the fate of their relationship or worse, their mortality. Both Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) and Dexter (Michael C. Hall) especially have bad track records. That doesn't mean we don't have hope though. We were reluctant at first but are coming around about Quinn (Desmond Harrington) and Deb together. She's seemed a little more steady, mature this season. And really, his declaration of love, saying that Deb's like a man, but in a good way, is just too adorable. Yeah, they deserve each other. We're not thrilled with how Deb's been making herself the target of Jor…

DirecTV and Netflix are reportedly talking to Fox TV Studios about picking up The Killing for a third season, though both companies were characteristically coy about any negotiations. …
