One of the most recognized Latin writers known for the use of magical realism, Marquez won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1982. His novel One Hundred Years of Solitude has sold more than 50 million copies in more than 25 languages. He's also known for Love in the Time of Cholera, Chronicle of Death Foretold and Autumn of the Patriarch, among other works.
