Dana Plato was an American actress notable for playing the role of Kimberly Drummond on the U.S. television sitcom Diff'rent Strokes from 1978 to 1986. She died after taking a fatal dose of Lortab and Valium before laying down for a nap while visiting her fiancé's mother in Moore, OK.. The death was eventually ruled a suicide. She died May 8, 1999 at age of 35.
