Andy Kaufman was a popular and eccentric American entertainer, actor, and performance artist. He was also a brilliant comedian and noted trickster, he enacted enough odd shenanigans that there are still a lot of people who believe that his death was yet another prank. He was obsessed in faking his own death, according to his close friends. His death certificate, however, is on file at the LA Department of Health. He died May 6, 1984.
