Vic Morrow was an American actor that died in one of the more grisly celebrity death. He was killed durring a scene for the 1982 film Twilight Zone: The Movie. While filmig the movie a pyrotechnic explosions damaged a helicopter and caused it to crash on top of him and two children. Struck by the whirring helicopter blades, Morrow was instantly decapitated. Though director John Landis and producer Steven Spielberg were among those initially charged with involuntary manslaughter in the incident, those charges were later dropped. He died July 23, 1982 at the age of 53.
