Rizzoli & Isles is a television series where a detective, Jane Rizzoli, and Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Maura Isles, team up to solve crimes in Boston. The network has announced that the show will end after its upcoming seventh season. The long-running crime drama was renewed last summer though no mention was made about an end to the series until today. It will be going out strong, ranking as one of the most-viewed shows on basic cable over the course of its run, as well as being TNT's second-most watched series behind The Closer. Look for the final 13-episode season this coming summer.
