Under the Dome is an American science-fiction drama television series. CBS announced today that it will be coming to an end after its current third season. The sci-fi drama, which is based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, will soon conclude a successful run that saw it emerge as a breakout summer hit in 2013. While ratings did taper off each season, it remained as one TV's most-watched summer shows.
