CBS announced that Blue Bloods has been renewed for a seventh season. The long-running Tom Selleck police drama has been a Friday night staple on the network, where it continues to draw solid, steady ratings. Season 7 is expected to return this fall. Along with Blue Bloods, CBS issued early renewals to six of its other veteran dramas including Hawaii Five-0, Elementary, Madam Secretary, Scorpion, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans. The network's freshman dramas - including Supergirl, Code Black, and Limitless - are still awaiting their fates.
