Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition reality show based on the British series "Strictly Come Dancing," where celebrities partner up with professional dancers and compete against each other in weekly elimination rounds to determine a winner. The network has announced that the show will be returning in 2016 for a 22nd season. Once one of the network's top performers, the celebrity dance competition continues to maintain its place as one of its longest-running prime time staples. Season 22 of the show will premiere on Monday, March 21 at 8:00pm. Returning to the ballroom will be longtime judge Len Goodman, who took this past season off. The cast of celebrities will be announced at a later date.
