Black-ish is an American sitcom about a family man struggling to gain a sense of cultural identity while raising his kids in a predominantly white, upper-middle-class neighborhood. Bitten is a Canadian television series on the network Space and it has announced that Bitten has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore drama, which airs on Syfy in the States, is Space's most-watched original series ever.

Between is a Canadian science fiction drama television series. News is out that Netflix has renewed it for a second season. Word broke from show star Jennette McCurdy, who took to Twitter with the good news. The sci-fi drama, which is a collaboration between the streaming service and Canada's City network, aired a short 6-episode first season in May and June. The CW announced today that Arrow has been renewed for a fourth season. The veteran action drama continues to be one of the network's best-performing shows. It helped pave the way for spin-off series The Flash, which launched last fall as The CW's newest breakout hit. Aquarius is an American period drama television series on NBC. The network has announced that it has been renewed for a second season. The freshman 1960's-set drama is currently four episodes into its debut run on the network, but the entire season has already been made available online, making it the first broadcast series to be streamed in its entirety after its premiere.    

The popular action-adventure drama will return in January, 2015. BBC America has renewed The Musketeers for a second season. The freshman series, which premiered this last January, has thrilled audiences accross the globe. Season 2 is expected to return on January 17, 2015.

TNT announced today that Rizzoli & Isles has been renewed for a sixth season. The crime drama has been a mainstay as one of basic cable's top shows over the course of its run, with its current fifth season finishing this past summer as basic cable's #1 series. The remaining episodes in Season 5 will return this February, with Season 6 expected to premiere in summer 2015 with an 18 episode order.

According to today’s announcement by David Nevins, Showtime’s President of Entertainment, production will begin on season seven in 2012 in Los Angeles. FXX announced today that The League has been renewed for a seventh season that will conclude its run. The comedy recently finished Season 6, which was its second on FXX after moving there in 2013 from original network FX. The League's final season will premiere on FXX in the fall of 2015 and consist of 13 episodes.

It looks like the networks’ dry spell on renewals of scripted shows this season will finally end today. I hear that CBS is prepping early pickups of a slew of existing series, with word of the first one, a third-season renewal of Blue Bloods, already out this morning. The network is not confirming. The list will likely also include the two NCIS series, freshmen 2 Broke Girls and Person Of Interest as well as Mike & Molly, The Mentalist, veterans Criminal Minds and CSI and possibly Hawaii
