The Librarians is an American television series which is a direct spin-off of The Librarian film series about a group of librarians that set off on adventures in an effort to save mysterious, ancient artifacts. The network has announced that The show has been renewed for a third season. The movie-based drama is currently nearing the end of Season 2, which concludes on December 27. The cable network has ordered 15 episodes for Season 3, up from the 10 episodes the show received for each of its first two seasons. Look for Season 3 of The Librarians in late 2016.
