'The Twilight Zone' Renewed By CBS All Access

CBS All Access announced today that The Twilight Zone has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes midway through the show's freshman run on the streaming service.

A modern re-imagining of the original 1959 series created by Rod Serling, the series premiered in April with its first episode garnering the highest number of Day 1 viewers for an original series on the on-demand service. Reviews have been mostly positive as well, with fans and critics appreciating its ability to stay true to the essence of the original.

Hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele, the updated Twilight Zonefollows an anthology format, utilizing socially-conscious storytelling to explore aspects of the human condition and contemporary culture.
