Vilhelm Beck is a police aspirant and out on his firstinternship in the real world. He and his supervisor Trine areroutinely called to a burglary. At the crime scene, Vilhelm isthe one who discovers a dead 17-year-old boy and the missiongoes directly to the Beck group. Vilhelm feels deeply affectedby the situation and wants to contribute to the investigation,more than his supervisor says ok to. At the same time, MartinBeck tries to ensure that he gets to be part of Vilhelm'sdevelopment, something Vilhelm doesn't appreciate as much.
