It's estimated that 1,000 vans are stolen in the UK everymonth. In this episode Derbyshire Traffic Cops target criminalsstealing vans, banned drivers in vans and thieves in vans onthe run. With a clampdown on gangs stealing vans to order,officers are on the hunt for a transit van taken without keysfrom a driveway. But, with the suspects changing number platesto disguise the stolen vehicle, it makes tracking it down muchharder, even with four police units and a helicopter in hotpursuit. And following a tip-off about a suspected disqualifieddriver, officers search for and arrest the driver of a vanwho, when questioned, says he has no recollection of beingdisqualified.
