Plus, Jennifer welcomesthe Sterner sisters, Kara andtwins Alisha and Liz, from Macomb, Michigan, who becamenurses in honor of their late mother, Kim, who passed awayfrom appendix cancer when they were children. While their momwas undergoing chemotherapy, the sisters (then 10 and 11) tookon the responsibility of helping her with everyday tasks andmaking her comfortable. They credit seeing the nurses care fortheir mom with sparking their desire to pursue careers innursing.
