PCs Jamie Leslie and Jan Simsela follow a flatbed truck that'sall over the road and hits a curb. To their surprise the driveris very chatty and admits that he's just finished work and hashad a 'few' cans in his truck on the way home! Jan and Jamieare gobsmacked that he doesn't seem to have a problem withdrink driving. On the A19 PC Tommy Wade tries to find a VW Golfthat's being used by multiple people without insurance. Afterparking up, the car drives right past him and Tommy stops it.But the driver is less than forthcoming with his details. Andat 3am in Gateshead Jamie and Jan give chase. A shockingpursuit then takes place with the car hitting a speed of150mph, driving on the wrong side of the road and ignoring redlights.
