FOX has announced that it has topped up the first season of Gotham to a full 22 episodes. The network has ordered six new episodes on top of the original issue of 16 after a strong start for the series over its first three weeks. Gotham is one of this fall's top new dramas, so far performing strongly in its Monday night time slot. FX has announced that American Horror Story will be renewed for a fifth installment. The news comes days after its most-recent premiere set a record as the most-watched telecast in the network's history. ION Television has picked up the rights to Saving Hope in a deal that will see the Canadian medical drama return to the U.S. for the first time since 2012. Anna Silk, who plays Bo, the main character of the show, posted on her twitter account "After five incredible seasons, we have decided that it is time for Bo's journey to come to an epic conclusion." She went on to deliver the news that Season 5 will be a "super-sized" 16 episodes that will air in two parts. It is expected that the premiere will air late this year on Showcase in Canada, with the second half of the season airing in the fall of 2015.
