The filmmaker posted a first-look photo to the official "Twilight Saga" Facebook fan page Thursday (Nov. 25) with the following message: "Happy Thanksgiving and a crazy Black Friday to all of you and yours." Spoilers! If you haven't read the books and don't know what's in store for Bella, it's best to stop reading now. As you can see, the pic is of an arm amongst some scattered feathers, but it's much more than that, right? As we know from the books, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Rob Pattinson) are officially married and go on their honeymoon at the beginning of "Breaking Dawn." What we see is the aftermath of that honeymoon night because Bella, being human and all…

Joel, 61, underwent surgery last week to correct a congenital condition and is "doing extremely well," his spokeswoman tells People. There's no word yet on when he'll be able to perform again. We wish him a smooth recovery. A recent update on PostSecret, the addictive site where people anonymously share their secrets via postcard, claims that one of the male cast members of the Harry Potter movies is the unknowing father of a child. The postcard (above) features pictures of Jason Isaacs, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Oliver and James Phelps, Tom Felton and Alan Rickman and the following handwritten text: "One of these men is the father of the most amazing little girl in the world. He's never met her, he never will. He probably can't even remember my name." Felton, 23, and the Phelps twins, 24, took to Twitter to laugh off the postcard. Wrote Felton after sharing a Twitpic of the postcard: …

Nielsen died late Sunday afternoon (Nov. 28) of complications from pneumonia at a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., his family says. His wife and "dear friends" were by his side. Nielsen's career spans some six decades, beginning with appearances in live TV dramas in the early 1950s. He made his feature film debut in the 1956 sci-fi classic "Forbidden Planet" and worked steadily through the 1960s and '70s in both film and television. His movie credits from that time include "Tammy and the Bachelor" (1957), "The Plainsman" (1966) and "The Poseidon Adventure" (1972), and he appeared on numerous TV shows ranging from "Peyton Place" to "The Streets of San Franc…

Franco and Hathaway each have a movie out right now, Franco's "127 Hours" and Hathaway's "Love and Other Drugs." Both films have been getting good reviews. Franco has even been in the conversation for an Oscar nomination, while Hathaway is considered more of a long shot. It would certainly be a different way to go from last year's hosts of Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. But after our initial surprise, we found ourselves liking the idea. Franco would certainly be a breath of fresh air, while Hathaway has proven her comedic chops in movies like "The Princess Diaries" and "The Devil Wears Prada." Hathaway would be the first female host since Ellen DeGeneres in Feb. 2006 and …

The New York Post says the show's high-tech stunts went "completely awry," including wires dropping on the audience, scenery missing pieces and the show's star Natalie Mendoza was suspended helplessly in midair during the climatic end to Act I. As Mendoza finished the number "Rise Above" while suspended over the audience, a wire malfunction left her there -- for seven or eight minutes, while stagehands worked to figure out the problem. In the first act alone, the show was halted four times for technical difficulties. At one point, Spider-Man himself (Reeve Carney) was left dangling above the stage as backstage crew members leapt at his feet to haul him back down to earth…

In his first big interview since being diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year, Michael Douglas admits that the disease and intense treatment he's undergone have taken a toll, but he says he's "on the upward curve" now. "To be able to sit here and talk to you, I'm so happy." [Hollywood Reporter] David Cassidy -- or rather his lawyer, acting on Cassidy's behalf -- pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge in a Florida court on Tuesday (Nov. 30). Cassidy was arrested earlier this month but maintains his innocence; he's due back in court in January. [TMZ] Mariah Carey has started having some pregnancy cravings, but they're not the sterotypical ones. "My taste bud situation…

"The Oregon Ducks are on the verge of potentially going to the national championship game so we're all on pins and needles," the sitcom star tells Zap2it. Burrell is an Oregon native and has a keen interest in the outcome of the classic Civil War game Saturday (Dec. 4) between historic rivals the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Offense has been the name of the game for the Ducks this season, and this game will determine their advancement to the national championship. For Burrell, the more critical the game, the more he wants to watch it either alone or with family who are as passionate as he is about his teams. "My mom is the same way. My…

For her re-ascent to the top of the pop-culture consciousness, the 88-year-old White has been named Entertainer of the Year by the Associated Press. The wire service collected 102 ballots from member organizations, and White received 20 first-place votes. She beat the cast of "Glee" for the honor by two votes. "It's ridiculous," White tells the AP. "They haven't caught on to me, and I hope they never do." White started her year by receiving SAG's lifetime achievement award in January, and she's ending it as a SAG nominee for her individual performance in TV Land's comedy "Hot in Cleveland" (the show's ensemble is also nominated for best cast of a comedy series). In betwee…

It just felt a lot longer than those 190 minutes. A few hours ago yours truly wrote a post about Oscar hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway were very winning in the show's opening moments. Consider that opinion revised. Hathaway remained a lively presence throughout the show and had a funny musical number about a third of the way into the broadcast, but aside from a couple of moments after the opening, the choice of Franco as her co-host didn't play nearly as well as the academy probably was hoping. Franco is a very talented actor and has been fantastic in comedic roles on film. On live TV, though, his detached, isn't-this-ironic vibe came off more disinterested than hip.…

Elisabeth played assistant Sarah Jane Smith opposite Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker and reprised her role as the gutsy investigative journalist several times over the years, including the 2006 episode School Reunion. She went on to star in spin-off children’s series The Sarah Jane Adventures, which saw guest appearances from David Tennant and current Doctor Matt Smith. The show proved a hit with a new generation of youngsters and was one of the BBC’s highest ever rated children’s programmes. In 2007, Elisabeth appeared at the annual SF Ball cult TV convention in Bournemouth, where she told the Daily Echo that she loved her time in the Tardis, describing her co-stars as “a joy …

He died in a New York City hospital of complications after minor surgery, according to a CBS statement released on Saturday. Rooney was 92. In a 2010 interview with USA TODAY, he was asked about retiring and shot back his own question: "Retire? From what? Life?" He allowed that "I suppose the time may come." It did on Oct. 2, when he delivered his 1,097th and final essay, telling his viewers, "I've done a lot of complaining here, but of all the things I've complained about, I can't complain about my life." 60 Minutes didn't replace him with another essayist — perhaps the ultimate compliment. A former war correspondent, he wrote 16 books — from Air Gunner (1944), an accoun…

She is set to join the period drama for an episode slated to air on Dec. 4. where she will play a debutante who has a past with Ted (Michael Mosley). After a bit of a slow start, this new series appears to be gaining some momentum. It recently has signed the former "LOST" producer Steven Maeda as its show runner. It also received an order for five additional episodes, but has yet to receive a full season order. Anyone have any thoughts on the new cast change, or the show in general? I have followed this show since its airing, and I personally find the series is trying out so many different things - comedy, romance, spying - that it's hard to tell what sort of show it will…

Mortensen stated that he would have liked to participate, and that Jackson had approached him about possibly appearing in the first installment, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.", but he said "It simply didn't pan out that way". Mortensen said "I'm not in it unless there is some last-minute plan they have. But I thought I would have heard of it by now,". He went on to say "Aragorn is half elf and also lives a couple hundred years or more and he could be in a bridge, but I have to assume it isn't going to happen.". Cast members you can expect to return for the prequels include Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, and Orlando Bloom. …

Her first comments came on Friday (Nov. 25) and appear to be at the expense of her soon-to-be ex-husband. Demi, who inexplicably still uses the Twitter name of "MrsKutcher.", writes "Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving!". In 2010, we started hearing tales of Ashton’s extramarital affairs. First it was Brittany Jones, who claimed she and Ashton “made love on the couch” one day when Demi wasn’t home. Then, earlier this year, we learned that Ashton got drunk and had sex with another woman, Sara Leal, who subsequently sold her story to Us Magazine, so it's entirely possible that th…

The 46-year-old actor accidentally tweeted out his number for the world to see while trying to direct message Justin Bieber. The former Two and a Half Men star thought that he was just sending his digits to the teenage singer but instead his 5.5million followers were able to view the number - until it was swiftly taken down. Charlie was at the Michelin-starred restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas last week when the incident occurred. '310-954-7277 Call me bro. C,' Charlie wrote leading to many of his followers immediate retweeting the message. An eyewitness told the New York Post that the actor's phone immediately erupted with a ton of calls and messages. And he's proud of all three descriptors in equal measure. Before social media and Twitter made every celebrity slipup or moment of weakness liable to be a viral sensation, a photo following Nolte's 2002 DUI arrest made the rounds on the web, with seemingly the entire world seeing and laughing at his shocked, matted hair, angry scowl and fantastic Hawaiian shirt. In a new feature interview with GQ, Nolte explains it all -- and has no desire to run away from what to many would be a total embarrassment. Nolte himself has never spoken about the infamous photo -- until now. In the latest issue of GQ magazine, Nolte reveals that the pic wasn't his mug shot at all, it was just a…

Well, according to Bauer, things are still going well for him in Season 5. Zap2it caught up with Bauer at the "True Blood" Season 5 premiere in Hollywood where he told them that Andy will "get into some ladies." We asked, "Holly?" He said, "She's a sweet kind of a small town gal who happens to be a witch. But he's been exposed to so many weirdos at this point that he's fine with it." They asked him about the plural here. "Ladies?" "Well, maybe I was speaking as Andy and maybe overshooting, but you know at the end of last season, he was that guy who every guy thinks they may be someday, who actually ran into a gal in the woods and they had a thing," he says. It's like a…

True Blood alum Michael Raymond-James was announced to have been added to the series on Saturday. His role will be a recurring one, though ABC and Once Upon a Time executive producers have been extremely tight lipped about exactly which role he'll be playing. Raymond-James is perhaps most famous for playing True Blood's first big villain; he played Rene in the show's first season. Following that, he nabbed a starring role on FX's canceled-too-soon Terriers. He also showed up in The Walking Dead's second season for one episode ("Nebraska"), in which he played a potential threat of a character who was quickly dispatched by Rick Grimes when he attempted to kill our heroes…
