Amazon Studios confirmed today that Sneaky Pete has been renewed for a third season. The good news was delivered at this summer's TCA, with the streaming giant announcing that production on the upcoming season will be kicking off next week. It was more or less already understood that the drama would be returning for a third season, when a few months ago it was announced that its production would be moving from New York to California due to a tax credit approval it received on the west coast. Co-created by Bryan Cranston, Sneaky Pete stars Giovanni Ribisi as a con man who is on the run from a dangerous gangster. Recently released from jail, he assumes the identit…

It is being reported that USA Network has cancelled Shooterafter three seasons. The Ryan Phillippe drama, currently airing new episodes on Thursday nights, will air its series finale on September 13. It has been an interesting, but not unsuccessful, run for the series, which faced its share of setbacks over the course of its time on the air. Issues first arose even before its debut episode, originally scheduled for the summer of 2016, when tragic real-life shootings delayed its summer release plans twice, resulting in an eventual fall premiere. Then in its second season, Phillippe broke his leg in an off-set mishap in the midst of production, resulting in the season …

[imgleft] [/imgleft] Conan O'Brien has pimped himself out. The late-night host turned to Craigslist to advertise his availability ... in the notorious "Casual Encounters" section. Just like the time he had put "The Tonight Show" up for sale on the online community site, Craigslist pulled the ad, but not before screen shots could be made. Behold, O'Brien's Craigslist ad: [imgleft] [/imgleft] In case you have a problem with the print size, the ad reads: TALL, SLENDER REDHEAD AVAILABLE FOR NIGHTTIME RECREATION 6'4", completely ripped, VERY Caucasian.Drapes match the carpet.Currently homeless, must meet at your place. Can go a whole hour (with sche…

It looks as if the end of Homeland is near. In an interview with Howard Stern earlier today, star Claire Danes appeared to confirm that the long-running drama will indeed not continue past next season - the show's eighth. Stern was first to bring up the fact that Homeland would be coming to a close next year, and Danes concurred, responding simply with, "yeah, that's it." The news doesn't come as a complete surprise, as showrunner Alex Gansa has gone on the record in the past about likely wrapping things up in Season 8. The series was last picked up in 2016, when two additional seasons were ordered at the same time as part of an overall deal with Fox 21 TV Stud…

Married With Children is an American sitcom that aired for 11 seasons. It follows the life and times of Al Bundy, who is a misanthropic women's shoe salesman with a miserable life. He hates his job, his wife is lazy, his son is dysfunctional (especially with women), and his daughter is dim-witted and promiscuous. David Faustino, who played Bud on the sitcom, has said that he's developing a "spin-off" of the series. "Sony has it. They're excited about it," he said at the premiere of his TV co-star Christina Applegate's movie Vacation. "They're working on some legal issues that we hope they work out.”The whole cast is down to do little bits in it". The idea would be a p…

David Thabo Simelane was born in Swaziland in 1956 and grew up in Ngcoseni. He is a Swazi serial killer who caused havoc from the late 1990s until late 2001. His murder spree began in 1997, around the time he was released from prison for a prior conviction of rape. It was one of the many times, about 18, since 1976 that he had been convicted of robbery and rape. The last conviction was significant because he would later claim that he had robbed the woman but he had never raped her. For him, the 28 women and children he would later kill were revenge for the wrongful conviction. Simelane lured most of his victims to the woods of Malkerns with job prospects where he would th…

It's a sad day for the #Clockblockers out there, as NBC has once again cancelled Timeless. The move marks the second straight year that the network has pulled the plug on the series, only this time there will be no reversal of its decision. Fans of the action drama had been holding out hope since last month's finale that a third season may be in the cards. And like last year, the show ended on another major cliffhanger that might not ever be resolved. I say 'might' because there have reportedly been discussions between NBC and the show's producers about a possible two-hour movie that would properly conclude the story and give fans the closure they undoubtedly would a…

Jeffrey Dahmer, an American serial killer and sex offender, was born on May 21, 1960. Between the years of 1978 and 1991, Dahmer murdered 17 males. Rape, dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism were involved in his murders. He was beaten to death on November 28, 1994 by an inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution, where he had been incarcerated. By most accounts Dahmer had a normal childhood; however he became withdrawn and uncommunicative as he got older. He began showing little to no interest in hobbies or social interaction around the ages of 10 to 15. Dead animals became an interest of his and he also started drinking heavily during his high school years…

It's time to play another round of 'Wait, Is Mila Kunis Married Or Not?' The Jupiter Ascending actress is a guest on the inaugural episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden, and the question of her marital status came up again, because that's more important than anything else she's done lately, apparently. Kunis played coy at first until Corden spoke for everyone and said, "Either you're married or you're not." She then showed him her ring finger and he seemed to gather Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who are parents to 5-month-old daughter Wyatt, secretly got hitched and didn't immediately announce it to the world. Of course, all of this could mean nothing because I ofte…

[imgleft]http://nerdvana.freedomblogging.com/files/2009/07/sookie_tb-300x410.jpg[/imgleft]According to True Blood creator Alan Ball, whether you’re a fan of Bill and Sookie or Sookie and Eric, season 3 of the HBO hit is sure to make you very unhappy. And, oddly, very happy, too. “Take a look at Joe [Manganiello],” he teases of the hunk he cast as the psychic’s new love interest, the werewolf Alcide. “Do you think [they] have reason to be worried?” Rhetorical questions aside, the writer is confident that, just as his new hire won him over, he’ll win over viewers. “We were looking for a guy who was big, sexy, decent and heroic, with some darkness,” he says. “And [Mangani…

The fifth season, which concluded with "The Big One" Sunday night (Dec. 12), averaged more than 5 million viewers per week, making it the series' highest-rated season to date. The finale itself nabbed 2.9 million viewers from the 9 p.m. (2.5 million) and 11 p.m. (401,000) airings combined. This is on par with the series' stellar Season 4 finale and a good 40 percent up from the premiere's 1.77 million viewers. When all is said and done and watched On Demand/Live+7, the Season 5 finale could boast as many as 6 million viewers. In "The Big One," Dexter (Michael C. Hall) concludes his search for Lumen (Julia Stiles) , who's been kidnapped by Jordan, the leader of a group of …

When lead actor Andy Whitfield stepped down from the role after a cancer diagnosis (and subsequent relapse), the "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" production team had to go to Plan B. Their prequel series, "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena," which takes place before Spartacus arrived at the House of Batiatus, begins January 21 on Starz at 10 p.m. EST. "You're going to love the next installment," DeKnight promises. "It's a six-episode prequel centering on the House of Batiatus and the intrigue and action that took place before the arrival of Spartacus." Though Spartacus himself will be largely absent from the prequel, it gives viewers the opportunity to spend more time with John Ha…

Former "ER" star Mekhi Phifer, late of FOX's "Lie to Me," has been cast in a lead role opposite John Barrowman and Eve Myles, Deadline reports. He's playing a CIA agent named Rex Matheson, who "become embroiled in the Torchwood legend and investigate what Torchwood is or was," as creator Russell T. Davies put it last summer. Rex is described as a character who's rising in the agency's ranks and has a very sharp sense of humor. In casting Phifer, Starz and the BBC (which are co-producing the new season) have gone in a different direction than what was reported earlier in the fall, when "Dollhouse's" Enver Gjokaj and former "One Tree Hill" star Chad Michael Murray were rumo…

It appears as if Colony has been cancelled after three seasons. The sad news comes just days before the sci-fi drama's season finale - which will now serve as its series ender. The writing appeared to be on the wall when fans noticed a lack of representation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, where the show has been known to have a regular presence. A tweet by Wes Tooke, who wrote numerous episodes each season, expressed sadness that they won't be able to finish their story. The series had a solid run on USA Network, at one time ranking as cable television's most-watched scripted series on Thursday nights. Viewership has tapered off, however, with Season 3 hitt…
