AMC announced Tuesday that hit series The Walking Dead has been renewed for a fifth season. The news comes two weeks after the horror drama's fourth-season premiere delivered record ratings with 20.2 million viewers (live + 3). Of those, 13.2 million were in the adults 18-49 demographic, which also set a record for any non-sports cable telecast. The Killing is being brought back from the dead - again. For the second time, the show is being "un-cancelled", but not by original network AMC. This latest resurrection come by way of Netflix, who worked out a deal for one final season of the crime drama that will consist of a shortened six episode run. Stars Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman will return for The Killing's final bow, which is set to begin production early next year.
