[imgleft] [/imgleft] "Rescue Me" will return to FX in the early summer, but it might not stick around for much longer after that. The cable channel has 19 more episodes of the show on tap, FX president and general manager John Landgraf said Sunday (Jan. 17) at the TV Critics Association press tour -- but beyond that, he's not certain of its future. "We've ordered 19 seasons -- 19 episodes -- that was a little bit of a Freudian slip, wishful thinking. We've ordered 19 episodes," Landgraf said. "... I think there's a good chance that these 19 will be the final 19 episodes of 'Rescue Me,' but we haven't decided yet." The episodes that are left will be broken into tw…

Actresses are no strangers to plastic surgery, but some are tight-lipped about just what they've had done. Not Kaley Cuoco. "I had no boobs! And it really was the best thing ever," she says. "I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn't about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy."Cuoco-Sweeting also opens up about her landmark contract for her hit CBS show, for which she now makes $1 million an episode. "All I think about is what it means for my family... and knowing there is security for all of us," she says. "My parents spent 16 years hauling my butt to LA for audition after audition. Every day they we…

With a name like Porsha, this shouldn't be a surprise. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams was pulled over for speeding and subsequently arrested for driving on a suspended license in Atlanta. The police took Williams, 33, to jail, where she posted a $1,726 bond and was released, but Williams claims she had a good excuse for zipping down the highway. "I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over," she said in a statement. "I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk. I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but…

[imgleft] [/imgleft] Did you know today's election for the late Senator Ted Kennedy's vacant Massachusetts seat has an "American Idol" connection? The Republican nominee for the Mass. U.S. Senate seat, Scott Brown, is the dad of season five semi-finalist Ayla Brown. Ayla famously always wore some killer heels with her 6'0 frame and made Ryan Seacrest look like the Keebler elf that he is. Below are two of her Top 24 performances. The first one is "Unwritten," which was not our favorite Ayla offering but in the video montage before the song she and her dad toss around the football as she talks about thinking her dad was Elvis when she was little. "Unwritten" is th…

The Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into allegations that Bill Cosby molested a 15-year-old girl. Judy Huth, who is currently suing the comedian for sexual battery and emotional distress, alleges that Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on himself in 1974. LAPD officer Jane Kim said that after meeting with Huth, the department decided to open an investigation on Friday. Cosby and his lawyer continue to deny the allegations. They recently filed a counter-suit against Huth, claiming she tried to extort $250,000 and attempted to sell her story to a tabloid ten years ago. More than 20 women so far have come forward accusing Cosby of sexual abuse. P…

[imgleft] [/imgleft] Conan O'Brien has pimped himself out. The late-night host turned to Craigslist to advertise his availability ... in the notorious "Casual Encounters" section. Behold, O'Brien's Craigslist ad: [imgleft] [/imgleft] In case you have a problem with the print size, the ad reads: TALL, SLENDER REDHEAD AVAILABLE FOR NIGHTTIME RECREATION 6'4", completely ripped, VERY Caucasian.Drapes match the carpet.Currently homeless, must meet at your place. Can go a whole hour (with sche…

Cosby’s TV daughter, Keshia Knight Pulliam, has finally addressed the rape allegations against him. On Sunday's premiere of Celebrity Apprentice, Pulliam, the project manager for her team's task, was heavily criticized and ultimately fired for not calling Cosby for donations. At the time of filming nearly a year ago, and prior to the onslaught of accusations against Cosby, the actress said she hadn't spoken to him in five years and felt uncomfortable reaching out for money in a lengthy, now-awkward boardroom scene. "I really believe, if you'd called that gentleman, he would've helped you, even if you hadn't spoken to him in years. What I can say is this: I wasn't there, n…

Kirstie Alley has debuted a new body, again. The actress says she's dropped 50 pounds! Alley revealed her weight loss on Today, telling Matt Lauer that she kept her promise that she'd dropped the weight by the New Year. Back in April, Alley, who's a paid spokesperson for Jenny Craig, said she planned to drop 30 pounds. Although she said she has an easy time losing weight, she struggles with keeping it off, but "this time it's different, my goal is to keep this and maintain this throughout my life," the actress explained. "I feel like I've conquered that now. I'm sort of hardheaded. You know, when I used to do drugs, it took me a while to quit, quit, quit, and then it was …

[imgleft] [/imgleft] NBC still hasn't officially said anything about the resolution to its late-night situation, but the man who's in all likelihood headed back to "The Tonight Show" has decided to speak up. On "The Jay Leno Show" Monday night (Jan. 18), Leno went beyond cracking jokes about the network's late-night mess -- though he did some of those too -- to give his assessment of the situation. He devoted much of the show's second segment to it. Here's what he said: "Let's start in 2004 -- 2004 I'm sitting in my office, an NBC executive comes in and says to me, listen, Conan O'Brien has gotten offers from other networks. We don't want him to go, so we're going …

It's doubtful that he'll be using this as inspiration for his next book. Nicholas Sparks, whose popular romance novels have turned him into a household name in households that include members of the female sex, has separated from his wife of 25 years. Sparks confirmed the news himself. "Cathy and I have separated," he said. "This is of course not a decision we've made lightly," he continued. "We remain close friends with deep respect for each other and love for our children. For our children's sake, we regard this as a private matter." Sparks met Cathy during his senior year at Notre Dame and the couple wed in 1989. They are parents to five children, Miles, Ryan, Landon, …

[imgleft] [/imgleft] FOX is in the process of developing a U.S. version of the British sci-fi hit "Torchwood." And while that sentence might normally strike fear into our hearts, the apprehension level is somewhat lower in this case. That's because in addition to securing the remake rights from the BBC, FOX is also hiring "Torchwood" creator Russell T. Davies to write a pilot script, according to The Hollywood Reporter. There's even a chance that some of the current show's cast would cross over to the new series; the HR mentions John Barrowman by name. Two seasons of "Torchwood" -- an offshoot of "Doctor Who" about a government agency that tracks and captures aliens…

[imgleft] [/imgleft] The last-minute shelving of FOX's game show "Our Little Genius" and next week's State of the Union address could end up being a good thing for "Human Target." The president's annual address to Congress and the country will air at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jan. 27. All of the big four broadcast networks (along with PBS and the cable news channels) will air it live, resulting in the usual schedule tweaking on the nets' part. FOX had scheduled "Human Target" for 8 o'clock on the 27th, followed by an "American Idol's" Los Angeles auditions episode. Instead, though, both shows will move to Tuesday, Jan. 26, with "Idol" at 8 leading into "Human Target" …

Phylicia Rashad is breaking her silence on the sexual abuse allegations against her longtime co-star Bill Cosby. The 66-year-old Tony-winning actress, who co-starred with Cosby for 10 seasons as Clair Huxtable on NBC's The Cosby Show, defended the embattled comedian. After first prefacing her comments by saying she didn't "want to become part of the public debate," she went on to say that she had never seen any behavior by Cosby to suggest there is any truth to the decades-old abuse allegations that have resurfaced in recent months. "Forget these women," Rashad said of the many women who have made claims in the media. "What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. An…

[imgleft] [/imgleft]NBC is patching the Jay Leno-shaped hole in its prime-time schedule by adding to the orders of several of its series. Both "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: SVU," which will move back to 10 p.m. in March, have been extended. So have "Trauma," the once-believed-dead show that will return to Mondays since "Parenthood" is moving to 10 p.m. Tuesdays, and comedies "Community" and "Parks and Recreation." "L&O" classic will get three extra episodes this season, pushing its total to 22, while "SVU" is doing two more hours for a total of 25, the Live Feed reports. "Trauma" will get four more shows, going from 16 to 20 and taking the show into ea…

Actor Liam Neeson attacks gun ownership in the United States as he wields a gun himself at bad guys in the third "Taken" movie. "I think the population is like, 320 million? There are over 300 million guns, privately owned, in America, I think it's a [expletive] disgrace," the Taken actor said. "Every week now we're picking up a newspaper and seeing, yet another few kids have been killed in schools." Neeson plays retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in "Taken 3," in which he is framed for murdering his ex-wife, and he uses a gun to fight his attackers. "I grew up watching cowboy movies, loved doing that [gun gesture] with my fingers, ‘Bang, bang, you’re dead!’ I didn’t end up a …

[imgleft] [/imgleft] The young lawyers of "The Deep End" are bright, ambitious, attractive, neurotic, scared, prone to sleeping with co-workers and in awe of/deeply afraid of their bosses. In other words, they're almost exactly like the doctors of "Grey's Anatomy" circa season one, but with suits instead of scrubs. And that's the chief issue with "The Deep End," which premieres at 8 p.m. ET Thursday (Jan. 21), just before "Grey's": Despite being populated with likable actors giving mostly solid performances, it's hard to escape the feeling that you've seen this before. I'm hopeful that will change in the future, that the show will find a more specific voice and set …

[imgleft] [/imgleft] NBC's late-nightmare is over. The network announced Thursday (Jan. 21) that Conan O'Brien will leave "The Tonight Show" and NBC. O'Brien is expected to tape his last "Tonight" on Friday (Jan. 22). NBC and O'Brien agreed to a $45 million deal wherein Conan receives $33 million under the condition that he not return to television for eight months. There is also no provision that says his $33 million will go down by the amount of his new television deal, as was previously speculated. The rest of the $45 million will go towards the severance package for his "Tonight Show" staff members. Jay Leno will return to hosting "The Tonight Show" after the…

With the debate over Daryl Dixon's sexuality finally over, The Walking Dead has yet to introduce an openly gay male character to its cast. But during a recent episode of Talking Dead, Robert Kirkman, who created The Walking Dead comics and serves as an executive producer on the TV series, revealed that a prominent gay male character from the source material will make an appearance on the show in the second half of Season 5. I think we found him. Actor Ross Marquand has joined the zombie drama as a series regular, and though his role is being kept secret as of now, he speculates that Marquand will play Aaron, a gay resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone. In the comics, Aaron…
