Currently five episodes into its sixth run, True Blood has been biting necks and cashing checks since 2008, and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. True Blood will return for a seventh season of ten episodes in summer 2014. While True Blood has seen a drop-off in critical praise the last few years, fan support seems to be nearly as strong as it's ever been.
