  3. NBC released its mid-season schedule today and it's not good news for The Brave. The freshman military drama is nowhere to be found in the line-up, meaning the network did not order any additional episodes for the show's first season. The hour-long series premiered in September and through eight episodes has been a decent performer in the 10:00pm time slot on Monday nights, though it regularly gets beaten by a substantial margin by The Good Doctor, which brings in roughly double the viewers, both overall and in the key adults 18-49 demographic. The Brave takes place in the world of America's elite undercover military operations. In D.C., a team of analysts utili…

  4. Well, by now you’ve probably seen The Walking Dead mid-season finally, if you haven’t it would not be wise to read this review; it does have spoilers in it. So, if you haven’t seen it yet it is recommended that you wait until you have. Here goes, you have been warned. It starts out with Rick running down Bob, the second Bob to die in a very few episodes. Did you catch the line that Rick gave him just before he shot him in the head and told him to shut up? He said, “You can’t go back, Bob”, that’s the same line that Gareth said to the other Bob as he was eating his leg, which just goes to show you that Rick Grimes doesn’t mess around, he became sickened of negotiating whi…

  11. It looks as if the end of Homeland is near. In an interview with Howard Stern earlier today, star Claire Danes appeared to confirm that the long-running drama will indeed not continue past next season - the show's eighth. Stern was first to bring up the fact that Homeland would be coming to a close next year, and Danes concurred, responding simply with, "yeah, that's it." The news doesn't come as a complete surprise, as showrunner Alex Gansa has gone on the record in the past about likely wrapping things up in Season 8. The series was last picked up in 2016, when two additional seasons were ordered at the same time as part of an overall deal with Fox 21 TV Stud…

Racist tweets bring an end to comedy's biggest comeback. Just two months after picking up Roseanne for an 11th season, ABC has reversed the move. The cancellation comes after show star Roseanne Barr took to Twitter with a series of racist and anti-semitic posts. The most offending being a now-deleted tweet calling adviser to former President Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, an offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.” The backlash that followed was immediate and intense, with numerous celebrities and pundits speaking out against her remarks. Barr subsequently apologized, calling the tweet a joke, but it was too late. The damage had been done.…

  24. The conclusion to the seven-season journey of Sons of Anarchy had a certain sense of inevitability to it and that's exactly what the show's creative team intended. In other words, the finale, which saw Jax Teller tying up a lot of loose ends for both the club and in his personal life before ultimately sacrificing himself to give his kids hope for a life away from the bullets and blood was always going to end with Jax dead, but even though Jax's fate was seemingly written in the stars, what about those he left behind?
