Bill Cosby’s star has officially been tarnished. Following weeks of reputation-damaging allegations of sexual abuse against the comedian, an unknown vandal has defaced Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Cosby's famous sidewalk placard, which sits on the 6900 block of Hollywood Boulevard and was given to him in 1977, was the victim of some graffiti. Someone took a blue pen to the star and wrote "Rapist" three times on it. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has responded to the vandalism, "The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an institution celebrating the positive contributions of the inductees. When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they woul…

The conclusion to the seven-season journey of Sons of Anarchy had a certain sense of inevitability to it and that's exactly what the show's creative team intended. In other words, the finale, which saw Jax Teller tying up a lot of loose ends for both the club and in his personal life before ultimately sacrificing himself to give his kids hope for a life away from the bullets and blood was always going to end with Jax dead, but even though Jax's fate was seemingly written in the stars, what about those he left behind? Will Jax's grand gesture be enough to save his boys from becoming outlaws? And will the club go back to the simpler organization it was originally intended t…

Boss, while one of the best on TV, is a low-rated show that will have to work hard to get a third season. And while freshman period piece Magic City was renewed before its first season aired, its ratings are just as bad (if not worse) than Boss's. It too will have to work for a third season. So what does Starz have coming down the pipeline of original programming? Some pretty intriguing stuff, as it turns out. Five new series in various stages of development have been announced, and some of them actually sound really, really promising. First is Black Sails, an eight-episode pirate series headed up by Transformers director Michael Bay. With Bay's name attached, you prob…

“There isn’t a film. That was all some weird fantasy going on somewhere. Look, we hopefully will do a Doctor Who film someday. It will be absolutely run by the Doctor Who production office in Cardiff. It will feature the same Doctor as on television," he assured EW. "It will not be a rebooted continuity. All of that would be insane.” Then Moffat delivered a speech not dissimilar from the famous "I am the Doctor!" speech the show's lead character delivered back in series 5: “So that whole proposal was not true, did not happen. I can say that with authority because, as far as the BBC is concerned, I’m the voice of Doctor Who. So if I say it, it’s true. The BBC own Doctor…

Glau - widely known and praised for her roles in ‘The Sarah Connor Chronicles,’ ‘Firefly’ and ‘Dollhouse’ - will portray Isabel Rochev, the stunning, yet dangerous Vice President of Acquisitions for Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidation. It looks like Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his family are going to have another villain to battle. No surprise there! Isabel is a direct adversary to Ollie, and you might recall seeing her name pop up on Robert Queen’s “list” - at least fans with great memories or fantastic eyesight do. DC Comics fans are surely anxious to see how Isabel will be portrayed. In the original comic book series, I…

But don't get excited about seeing an old man enter a phone booth to change his clothes and then fall asleep inside, because Krypton is going to be a prequel. According to the project's official logline, Krypton takes place years before Superman is born and centers on his grandfather as the elder superdude b…

After ten seasons of killing monsters, becoming demons, and fighting angels, who in their right mind says, “Hey, let’s make a musical”. Monsters do not make a good musical, demons do not make a good musical, and not even angels make a good musical. If you want a good musical, you do it with cats or maybe Dorothy and her little dog too, but Supernatural things do not make a good musical. And if that were not bad enough they actually invoke the name Barbara Streisand. Ugh, ugh, and ugh. This show has been many things for many years and how many times have we seen idiosyncrasies of ourselves come out in the characters. At any given moment we could feel empathy with one or m…
