Bridgette Andersen was an American child actress best known for her part in the title role of the 1982 comedy Savannah Smiles. As a teenager, she became involved with drugs and especially heroin. She died of an accidental overdose of alcohol and drugs. Her death was ruled an accidental drug overdose. She died May 18, 1997 at the age of 21.
