[imgleft] conan-obrien-tonight-320.jpg[/imgleft] The Conan O'Brien problem at NBC is reportedly over.

The Wrap is reporting that NBC has worked out a deal with Conan O'Brien wherein he vacates the 11:35 pm "Tonight Show" in exchange for a $30 million payday.

The deal has yet to be officially signed but is most likely going to be announced late Friday (Jan. 15).

Meanwhile, Deadline is reporting that the deal is closer to $40 million and that Conan is insistent NBC take care of those close to him.

Rumors have been swirling all day that Conan O'Brien would be taking a buyout in exchange for NBC not enforcing the non-compete clause in his contract -- which would have kept Conan off the air until 2013.

Is it a fair deal? Conan gets dumped by NBC for $30-40 million?

And where will Conan land? FOX? A spot on "Sons of Anarchy?" We're sure the offers will come pouring in.
