  1. Starz has renewed Black Sails for a third season. The drama, which premiered earlier this year, does not begin Season 2 until this coming January. If the show's production schedule sticks to one season each year, Season 3 won't premiere until 2016.
  2. CBS has cancelled Unforgettable after three seasons, marking the second time the network has axed the show. The first cancellation came after Season 1 in 2012 but the network ended up reversing its decision shortly after and brought it back as a summer series in 2013 where it fared better. Season 3 aired in the summer once again this year but ratings dipped, likely factoring into the decision not to continue with a fourth season.
