  1. ABC has renewed Modern Family for a sixth season. The popular comedy will be wrapping up Season 5 on May 21, capping another successful season as one of TV's top comedies. Look for Season 6 of Modern Family to return in late September.
  2. Fox has cancelled Dads after its first season. The freshman comedy starred Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi, and was executive-produced by Seth MacFarlane. The series was plagued with low ratings over the course of its run. Its original 22-episode order was trimmed down to 18 last December, which was an early indicator that the network would not continue with the show.
