The new comedy, which stars Sean Hayes, has struggled in the ratings over its first six episodes but did receive a bump to a series high this past week when it recently followed a live episode of The Voice. The reason behind the move is said to involve an impasse over the creative direction of the show between star/Executive Producer, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sony Pictures TV, which produces the show.
