Resurrection is an American fantasy drama television series about dead people who return to life. The series is based on the book The Returned, about the lives of the people of Arcadia, Missouri, and they are forever changed when their deceased loved ones return from the dead.The series follows the residents of a small Missouri town, whose lives are upended when their loved ones return from the dead, unaged since their deaths. This series started as a mid-season replacement with only eight episodes, after a strong start the network continued the series for a second, thirteen episode, season. ABC has decided not to continue the freshmn series even though the series had gotten off to a good start. Ratings began to dwindle in the past few months not warenting continuation of the series.
